This year I joined Sharon Salzberg and Robert Thurman for their annual New Year's retreat up at Menla Retreat Center nestled in the Catskills of Upstate New York This was a week-long residential retreat, so it was a real treat to offer chanting in this context, as the group settles into a very deep space with so many days of practice, teaching and time to reflect.
